POCKET EXPERIMENT / 0347

Grainfall Primer

Learn granular flow through three different hopper lessons. Each bag pours all its grains from one chosen top column. Grains fall straight down; when blocked they try a diagonal, favoring the selected wind, then the other side. They settle only when all three routes are blocked. Fill every outlined cup square with grain using the three bags shown for that lesson. A grain settling outside a cup clogs the hopper and ends the run. The next lesson changes both the cup geometry and bag order. Select Left or Right wind, then tap a column. Read how an earlier grain changes the route for the rest of its bag—this is loose sand, not a rigid bar.
